In Calamba, the Sustained Health Initiatives of the Philippines (SHIP) clinic, which started operations in March 19, 2022, actively engages with 42 PrEP clients as of May 2022 with an average enrollment of 23 clients per month for PrEP and 9 clients for HIV treatment. HASH, a partner community-based organization of SHIP, was able to provide around 1600 HIV screenings throughout Laguna from March 2021 to March 2022, giving us a rough estimate of the client-base in the area. SHIP also provides free PrEP medications.
